ABOUT THE ARTIST:  My earliest “art” memory was when I was 5 years old. My Dad was painting the house and left the 5 gallon paint can and brush in the hall bathroom. I happily  painted everything as high as my little arms could reach! I painted the tub, the toilet, the toilet paper, the pipes under the sink, and the walls, a dark Kelly green. So much fun! Our lovable German Shepard gave me away when he tracked green paw prints across the kitchen floor.

In high school I was chosen for an art program 3 afternoons a week at the Boston Museum of Art. The studio was in the basement of the museum and I got to paint with students from other Boston area high schools.  I really enjoyed being in an actual art studio. Sometimes we would get to take our drawing pads outside and sit on the bank of the River Charles to draw.

I am happiest when I am creating. I love drawing, painting, mixed media, making cards, journals and memory albums.
