ABOUT THE ARTIST: I have won awards in high school and college for my still life interpretation of fruit and comic style art, oil paintings. In college I studied African American Arts and Post Modern Art. I have learned that the human imagination is a powerful thing, most people are afraid to use it to its full potential. I am currently waiting for 3 canvases to speak to me as a unit.

This was inspired by the sea and the mystics of it. Scales could be that “big fish” you hope to catch or the mermaid you hope to see.
